As the Heart of Centerville Washington Twp. board president is fond of saying, many hands make light work. It takes many hands to make an event like the 2023 Uptown Holiday Walk a success. We are looking for volunteers to help us provide support for the event on Sunday, Nov. 19. We will need volunteers at three locations: Benham's Grove, Restoration Church, and Town Hall Theatre, all within the Uptown area of Centerville.
The event is running in conjunction with many other holiday activities and shopping to kick-off the holiday season. Uptown Holiday Walk begins at 1 p.m. and runs until 5:30 p.m. when the city of Centerville will begin the tree lighting ceremony at Benham's Grove. We will need volunteers to help setup before vendors arrive, as well as for during the event and teardown. Shifts begin as early as 7:30 a.m., and we will need volunteers throughout the day until about 7 p.m. The event is rain or shine!
Whether you are a business member of HOCWT or community member who wants to be more involved, we would love your help! Please follow the link to our Sign-Up Genius to sign-up for one of our available volunteer shifts. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate. Volunteers receive a free HOCWT t-shirt to wear during the event.

Only sign up for a shift if you are certain you can be there to help! Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, and plan to stand for long periods of time. Uptown Holiday Walk t is not accepting additional vendors, and vendor spots were only available for Heart of Centerville members. This sign-up is for volunteer shifts only.
